Les traigo desde Kyoto, Japón, a Tomoyuki Tanaka, mejor conocido como Fantastic Plastic Machine, un Dj Japones que mezcla bossanova, lounge, house y muchos otros tipos de música llevando también bandas sonoras de películas como Austin Powers, The Girl Nex Door y comerciales de Louis Vuitton.

A finales de 1980, Tanaka era bajista en una banda de rock llamada Margarine Strikes Back. Luego, en la década de 1990, Tanaka se convirtió en DJ formando parte de un grupo llamado Sound Impossible tocando en un club de Kansai, en 1997 creó Tanaka su proyecto en solitario Fantastic Plastic Machine. Sus dos primeros álbumes, “The Fantastic Plastic Machine” (1997) y “Luxury” (1998), fueron aclamados por la crítica y ganó reconocimiento internacional.

Después de una gira por Brasil, Chile y Argentina, llegan a nuestro país dos grandes exponentes del drum and bass y dubstep británico: TC & Jakes.

TC (Tom Casswell) es uno de los productores más importantes de drum & bass en Inglaterra. Su éxito ha sido imparable desde la salida de su álbum debut “Evolution” lanzado en el 2007 a través de D-Style Recordings, el cual fue aclamado por la critica y del que se desprende hits como “Jump“, “Deep“, “Rockstars” y “Mindkiller” que han dominado las principales carteleras británicas, incluidos en los sets de los djs más famosos del drum and bass y bailados por los fanáticos del género en todo el mundo.

Gracias a sus presentaciones en vivo en los festivales más importantes a nivel mundial se ha ganado el titulo de el embajador del drum and bass. Además también es solicitado con frecuencia para remezclar temas de artistas de otros géneros como Rihanna, B.O.B., Kid Cudi, Sean Paul, Prodigy, Adam Freeland, entre otros.

TC estará en Venezuela ofreciendo un djset explosivo de drum & bass acompañado por el MC -también británico- Jakes.

Jakes (Jermaine Jacobs) es un artista polifacético. Se desempeña como uno de los MC de más peso del circuito del drum and bass y uno de los vocalistas más interesantes de la escena underground británica. Ha colaborando en temas para TC, D Minds y Pendulum. Es el fundador del colectivo y sello discográfico de dubstep H.E.N.C.H.. También ha ganado reconocimiento como productor con temas como “3k Lane“, “Scanners“, “Warface” y “Rhythm“, y recientemente acaba de lanzar su nuevo álbum “The Jakes Project” bajo su propio sello.

Jakes no solo estará en nuestro país como MC acompañando a TC, también hará un show como dj con un set con lo mejor del dubstep underground.

Tc & Jakes estarán en vivo hoy martes 17 en el Black Magic Sound con todo el colectivo BMS, Omik y Alex (Simpl3)  y este sábado 21 junto a Pusher FM y un line up de djs nacionales en el lanzamiento especial de La Noche de los 1000 Dragones.

Tema originalmente producido por el conocido Dj y productor aleman Ingo Martens, aka Azzido Da Bass, en colaboracion con Jence Moelle, mitad del famoso duo electronico Digitalism.  Remezclados por otro par bastante rudo, la gente de Gooseflesh, conocidos por remixes electronicos bastante distorcionados, mucho dirty electro, disco punk, sumado a una gran actitud, estan entre mis dance floor destroyers preferidos.
