Además -como ya he comentado en post anteriores- se nota una evolución hacia un sonido más minimal club.

Este nuevo vídeo de Audacity of Huge cuenta con la participación vocal de Chris Keating de la banda Yeasaye, es el primer sencillo oficial y sale a la venta el 3 Agosto.

El disco sucesor de “Attack Decay Sustain”, esta lleno de colaboraciones (7 de las 10 canciones del disco cuenta con invitados), así que aun faltan temas por escuchar que de seguro no defraudarán.

“Temporary Pleasure” estará a las tiendas el próximo 17 de agosto a través de Wichita Recordings.

El dúo dance Simian Mobile Disco ya tiene listo su segundo álbum titulado “Temporary Pleasure” y que estará a la venta el próximo 17 de agosto a través de Wichita Recordings.

Anteriormente les había comentado que este disco cuenta con colaboraciones de gente como Gruff Rhys de Super Furry Animals, Beth Ditto de Gossip y Alexis Taylor de Hot Chip, y además ya tiene un par de videos, Synthesise y 10000 Horses Can’t Be Wrong, que muestran un poco la onda clubber y minimal de este nuevo material.

Como primer sencillo estará en las tiendas “Audacity Of Huge” a partir del 3 Agosto, tema que cuenta con la participación vocal de Chris Keating de la banda Yeasayer.

Hace varios meses les comente que Peaches estaba trabajando en un nuevo álbum, pues ese álbum ya tiene nombre y fecha de salida al mercado.

I Feel Cream es la nueva producción de la reina del electro rock, la cual cuanta con colaboraciones de Digitalism, Simian Mobile Disco, Gonzales y los productores del momento Soulwax.

El disco estará a la venta a partir del 5 de mayo y 10 días después Peaches comenzará una gira de promoción por Estados Unidos y Canadá.

Como todos los años, en el marco de la celebración del Winter Music Conference, se llevará a cabo el Ultra Music Festival los días 27 y 28 de marzo del 2009 en South Beach, y desde ya se han anunciado parte del line up de dicho festival, el cual incluye bandas y djs como Cut Copy, Bloc Party, Santogold, The Ting Tings, Roni Size, Crystal Castles, The Presets, Hercules and Love Affair, Simian Mobile Disco, Deadmau5, Busy P, Tiësto y Carl Cox.

Las entradas para los dos días del festival están ya en preventa en el site del festival con precios de $129.95 y $149.95 segunda y tercera etapa respectivamente (agotada la primera etapa de $99.95).

La reina del electrorock dijo a la estación de radio Triple J que ha estado grabando en Londres con Simian Mobile Disco, y ya tiene una canción completa con Digitalism.

Peaches agrego que también ha escrito algo para el álbum con el rappero Gonzáles.

“Suena fantástico,” afirmó. “Es como un gran show de variedades. Hay Balada, algunas cosas realmente duras y algo de música disco.”

“Decidí colaborar con todo el mundo. Escribí mucho con Gonzales, lo cual es genial porque nosotros en realidad nunca habíamos escrito nada para los anteriores álbumes de Peaches.“
